Why Soda Blast?

Soda Blasting is a new technology that eliminates the need for toxic chemicals in stripping and cleaning surfaces. Multi-layered surfaces can be cleaned to any level desired. Sodablasting is ideal for cleaning fiberglass marine products and is safe on gel coats and is perfect for these applications and more:

Boats
Cars
Trucks
Airplanes
Monuments

Masonry
Fiberglass
Machinery
Rust Stains

Graffiti
Fire Damage
Oil & Grease
Mold
Food Service

The Soda Blasting media is bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) and is non-toxic, 100% water soluble, and environmentally safe. It can be used to remove unwanted paint, rust, and more without damaging the underlying surface. Unlike sand blasting or chemical stripping, Soda Blasting can be done while most machines and processes are in operation.

Soda Blasting is only similar to sand blasting in the way the media is delivered—with a blast of compressed air. Sand blasting damages the underlying surface, leaving pits or warping and bending. Soda Blasting is gentle, FDA approved, and contains no free-silica; it is non-sparking, non-flammable, non-hazardous, and safe for the environment.
